Adventure calls in the Georgia wetlands where a half mile boardwalk, 54 foot observation tower, picnic area, bathrooms, fishing areas and an education center are waiting. These are open to the public after 2 p.m. on school days and all day on weekends, holidays, and during the summer. The center also offers education programs and field trips. Students can experience a positive connection with the natural world and their place in caring for the environment.

This 500 acre recreational area contains cabins, RV sites, tent sites, group shelters, a recreational boat area, nature trails, grills and other amenities. The major fishing area offers a variety of accommodations and activities for guests such as a boat launch for personal boats, equipment rentals and fishing contests. Picnics are permitted in designated areas throughout the grounds. Tables, grills, and shelters are available on a first come-first served basis.
