Every summer, Wild Adventures Theme Park takes the thrills from the park to the stage by inviting A-list celebrities to perform concerts in the heart of South Georgia. Guests of the park enjoy thrill rides, water slides, animals and performances by their favorite artists! That’s not even the best part. All the shows are complimentary with park admission. Needless to say, this summer is going to be wild!
Three concerts for the 2019 season have been announced.
Foreigner, the band behind “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Cold As Ice,” “Juke Box Hero” and so many other enduring anthems, is hitting the stage for a rock concert that will shake all of South Georgia. With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, Foreigner is internationally recognized as one of the most popular rock acts in the world. Their music continues to drive sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 75 million.
Scotty McCreery, an American country music singer best known as winner of the 10th season of American Idol, is coming. McCreery has become a country music star, releasing top hits such as “I Love You This Big,” “The Trouble with Girls,” “See You Tonight” and “Five More Minutes.” Perhaps most impressive, McCreery became the only country music artist in history to chart a song without the backing of a record label in February 2018. His latest album, Seasons Change, was released in March 2018.
Skillet, an American Christian rock band from Memphis, Tenn., is performing at the All-Star Arena. The band, led by John Cooper and his wife, Korey, has released 10 albums. Two albums have received Grammy nominations. They are known for a relentless touring schedule, which has included a stop in Valdosta for the last few years.
